Our company started off in the late 1960’s as an agricultural contracting, sand processing and supply business. A few years later, still in the early 1970’s, we started with our Transport business which was then followed by Livestock transport in 2000 and Logging in 2013.

It’s thanks to a lot of determination and hard work that we’ve managed to grow, thrive and improve our business and it’s mainly thanks to our people, that, despite strong competition and narrow margins, the Semenoff Group is still going strong to this day.

Today we’re still operating a bulk transport business and run the Kamo Scoria quarry, a sand quarry in Ruakaka, the Tomarata Sand quarry near Wellsford and the Kings Quarry in Wainui near Silverdale. We also operate the LSD-Landscaping Direct supply yard in Silverdale and a heavy vehicles Workshop in Whangarei which services and repairs both our own fleet and 3rd party vehicles and machinery.

It is thanks to our skilled and dedicated employees that our business has been growing over the many years we have been in business and that it is still going strong to this day.
